Privacy Notice

oki-homes ("this site") lists rental properties in Okinawa and connects people looking for a home with the companies that list them. The company operating this site is not a licensed real estate broker. The brokerage is done by the company that lists each property. This notice explains what information we handle, why, and who we give it to.

- Your name, email address, phone number, and display language - What you write in an inquiry - Properties you save - The identifier used to sign you in (your email address, or an external account) You do not need to enter any of this to browse properties.

- To pass your inquiry to the company listing that property - To verify it is you and sign you in - To show you the properties you saved - To keep a record of the consent you gave (required by law) - To answer your questions

Only when you send an inquiry, we give it to the company listing that property and the owner of that property. What we give them is your name, email address, phone number, and what you wrote. We give it to no one else. In particular, not to other listing companies, credit bureaus, rent guarantee companies, or advertisers. ⚠️ Once they have it, that company handles it under their own privacy policy.

We take consent for each inquiry separately. You can withdraw it at any time from your account. Once you do, that company can no longer see your name or contact details. ⚠️ If the company already saved a copy on their side, please contact them directly.

We keep it on servers in Japan (the database and the processing both run in the Tokyo region). We do not transfer it outside Japan.

You may ask us to show you, correct, or delete your information. You can change your name and phone number yourself from your account. For anything else, please contact us below.
